Our company focus is on how well your home is designed, constructed, and performs for you and your family in the short and long-term.

Meet Our Team

More About Richard: Richard graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1957 and began working for Bendix in Kansas City, MO. upon graduation. He was drafted into the US Army in 1958 under the Critical Skills program and was honorably discharged 6 months later. He built his first home with partner Fred Rielly in 1958. Richard has been a member of the NAHB, National Association of Home Builders, for over 50 years and has been recognized by the organization for this achievement. He has earned the designation of Senior Life Director of the NAHB and holds a "Certified Graduate Builder" designation from the organization as well. Richard was Past President of the KCHBA in 1978, the Area 11 Vice President of the NAHB in 1982, and was awarded "Builder of the Year" by the KCHBA in 1985. Currently, he is on the Board of the "Home Builders Foundation Fund," the charitable arm of the KCHBA. He has been involved in various committees of the KCHBA and is a proud active Board Member.

More About Brian: Brian earned a degree in Housing and Interior Design from the University of Missouri in 1984. That year, he joined Richard Mather Builders. He has earned the designation of Senior Life Director of the NAHB and holds a "Certified Graduate Builder" designation from the NAHB. He has been involved in various committees at the KCHBA and is currently an active Board Member.

More About Mark: Mark earned a degree in Housing and Interior Design from the University of Missouri in 1987 and joined Richard Mather Builders that year. Like his father and brother, he has earned the designation of Life Director of the NAHB. Additionally, he holds both the "Certified Graduate Builder," and "Certified Green Professional" designations from the NAHB. Mark was the President of the KCHBA in 2015 and currently holds the title of "Past President" for the organization. He is involved in various committees and is an active Board Member.
